Non-asbestos Gasket Sheet Instruction
Introduction
our company also acts as an agent for the following imported non-asbestos materials: KLINGER (Australia), BELPA (Spain), FRENZELIT (Germany), VALQUA (Japan), DURABLA (Canada), NOVUS (UK), TESNIT (Europe) and so on.
Details

Non-asbestos gaskets are made using aramid fibers and synthetic rock wool (perlite) as reinforcing materials, with natural rubber, butadiene benzene, or NBR rubber as the adhesive. They are manufactured using a roller pressing method, providing excellent temperature resistance, pressure resistance, oil resistance, superior air tightness, and compression rebound properties. Upon customer request, they can be embedded with metal wires or metal foil. These gaskets are commonly used for sealing in pipeline flanges, valves, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, machinery equipment, engines, and other industrial equipment.

Application media: Various gases, water, steam, chemical solvents, and various oils.

Industry equipment: These products are widely used in industrial applications such as power generation, metallurgy, shipping, petrochemicals, for sealing pipes, flanges, valves, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, machinery equipment, engines, compressors, internal combustion engines, machinery, instruments, heating, and other industrial equipment.

In addition, our company also acts as an agent for the following imported non-asbestos materials: KLINGER (Australia), BELPA (Spain), FRENZELIT (Germany), VALQUA (Japan), DURABLA (Canada), NOVUS (UK), TESNIT (Europe).

Key features of non-asbestos gaskets:

  1. Excellent temperature resistance, pressure resistance, and compression rebound properties.
  2. Wide applicability, oil resistance, medium resistance, and air tightness.
  3. High mechanical strength, easy to cut and shape.

Classification of non-asbestos gaskets: They can be classified into three different levels: low pressure, medium pressure, and high pressure, based on physical performance grades. They can also be categorized as oil-resistant, acid-resistant, pressure-resistant, high-temperature-resistant, refrigeration refrigerant boards, air-tight boards, marine sealing boards, and other special non-asbestos gaskets. Special non-asbestos graphite boards can be reinforced with metal wires or coated with graphite to enhance temperature resistance. Other non-asbestos materials and various gaskets can be customized according to customer's specific requirements.

Difference between non-asbestos gaskets and asbestos-free gaskets: In European and American countries, the terms "ASBESTOS FREE GASKET" or "NON ASBESTOS GASKET" generally refer to gaskets that do not contain any asbestos. In Chinese, they can be translated as "无石棉垫片" or "非石棉垫片". However, it should be noted that currently, we generally refer to gaskets that contain a certain amount of rock wool (5-20%) as non-asbestos gaskets. Therefore, customers need to specify their requirements when placing an order. To meet the demand for high-quality gaskets, we have sufficient stock of non-asbestos sheets from well-known foreign brands such as Klinger, Garlock, Valqua, Gore, and Frenzelit.

Non-asbestos gasket material specifications: Roller pressing plate width × length (mm): 1500 × 4000, 1270 × 3810; can be cut into smaller sizes; thickness (mm): 0.4 to 5.0. Special specifications can be discussed with customers. ※ All products with a thickness of 0.8mm or more can be reinforced with steel wire mesh and coated with graphite. Both sides can be treated with anti-stick coating, and the color can be customized according to customer requirements.
